She studied writing at the University of Washington and at Field's End, an organization for writers on Bainbridge Island, WA. Diane has provided business development consulting services to architecture and engineering firms for over 25 years. She has been published in trade magazines and newspapers, and has consulted on community outreach, public relations, and special events. She has traveled throughout Europe, with extended stays in Italy and France. Diane is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association (PNWA), and Publishers Marketing Association (PMA). In 1999, Diane struck up a friendship with her neighbor Franca. As Diane listened to Franca's haunting stories of her youth, she became inspired to tell them to the world. |
